Frequently Asked Questions – Regular Tour

How long is the tour?
The full Regular Tour takes approximately 3 hours. If you choose the shorter trail, the tour lasts around 2 hours.
 
 What kind of shoes do I need?
We recommend water shoes or comfortable sneakers that can get wet and provide good grip.

 What should I wear?
Wear light, quick-dry clothing suitable for hiking and getting wet. Bring an extra set of dry clothes for after the tour.
 
 What should I bring for the tour?
You can bring a waterproof phone or camera, reusable water bottle, and small snacks or fruits.
 
 Where can I leave my personal items?
We offer secure lockers at our facilities. You may also leave items in your car; our private parking area is safe and monitored.
 
 What is the minimum age to join the tour?
Children under 4 years old enter for free, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. From age 4 and up, the regular rate applies.
 
 Is the tour suitable for everyone?
Yes, it's ideal for families and beginners with moderate fitness. However, it's not recommended for elderly individuals, people with heart conditions, or mobility issues. We do offer a safer and shorter trail option.
 
 Can I bring pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the tour for safety and conservation reasons.
 
 What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash (no taxes) and credit/debit cards (taxes apply). If paying in Costa Rican colones, we use a rate of ₡500 per USD.
